Miranda Pastor

Visual artist and researcher, graduated from the Master of Research in Art and Creation from the Complutense University of Madrid (2020) and the Fine Arts degree by the University of Barcelona (2018). Currently based in
Brussels at L’Abeille Blanche and working in the collectives Las Tipias and Perrito Piloto.

During these last years I have combined work as artistic assistant and scenographer with different artistic residencies, such as Qlectiva at El Corralito CCA and the painting residency Pintores Pensionados del Paisaje at Palacio el Quintanar.

The works I carry out are based on our relationship with the contemporary environment and technology, trying to problematize them while valuing their aesthetic possibilities. From painting to publications, some of my works have been shown in different exhibitions, which include Art au Centre, Roca Umbert Creation Centre, KoMASK, the Esther Montoriol Gallery and the MEAM. At the same time, they have been selected in different awards, among which are the International Drawing Competition Ynglada Guillot and the young exhibition Muestra de Arte Joven de la Rioja.
